Rancher Energy Corp - oil and gas exploration and development
RANCHER ENERGY PROJECTS OVERVIEW

Meeting Rancher's Targeted Acquisition Criteria

Rancher Energy's Wyoming assets were selected based on their potential and historic production record—some are in traditionally productive fields, while others feature wells that were left behind after primary oil recovery.

What they share in common is that they meet Rancher Energy's targeted acquisition criteria—based on third-party geological assessment and reservoir engineering studies, they show significant potential to develop their recoverable oil.

Today's advanced recovery methods have turned previously unrecoverable resources into positive assets, and the high price of oil & gas make the recovery efforts economically attractive.

3-D seismic Survey Vehicles

To enhance oil recovery, carbon dioxide (CO2) is pumped underground, where it mixes with oil, lowering the oil’s viscosity and thereby improving the extraction by production wells. About 10 percent of the carbon dioxide comes out with the extracted oil. A good deal of water from previous waterflooding is also extracted with the oil.
